Michelle & Paul were married on the 27th of July and we were lucky enough to photograph their day. The day began as we arrived at the Novotel Auckland Airport where Michelle and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready. Her Dad was so adorable, he could hardly look at Michelle without tearing up. By the time she was finished, Michelle looked like royalty, with accents of gold and blue, which carried on throughout the rest of the day.
We met up with Paul & the boys at the Auckland Botanic Gardens in Manurewa and got ready for their first look. The brickwork in the edible garden provided a great backdrop for some beautiful, classic portraits. After that, we headed to a little forest and got some photographs of the bridal party all together. Before we knew it, it was time for Michelle & Paul to officially become husband and wife, so we headed to the church in Papakura they were to be married at. It was a beautiful ceremony, perfectly fitted for the couple. A guard of honour greeted Michelle & Paul as they exited the church which was awesome! The guests mingled over wine and nibbles, and we stole Michelle & Paul away for a few more portraits of the two of them. They made their grand entrance and we left them to enjoy the rest of their evening. Paul & Michelle, it was an honour to photograph your wedding!
