Chrissy and Dave were married in the beautiful area of Mangawhai.
I (Lauren) used to go to high school with Chrissy, so it was an honour for us to be invited to document her wedding day, and what an amazing day it was!
The venue where they were married is a beautiful house with alot of natural light, perfect for photos, and just a walk down the stairs and out onto the lawn to be married – how stress free!
In front of the water and a lawn full of family and friends they became husband and wife, and after a few celebratory drinks, we were off for a seriously fun location shoot.
Avoiding vertigo and walking very carefully along the narrow board walk, we managed, not only some really cool photos (if we do say so ourselves!) but also not falling in the water – bonus! 🙂
Chrissy wanted a ‘cool field’ but hadn’t found one, however we spied one just down the road from the venue, and after asking the nice neighbours, got the ok to use it, and had a blast in the grass, with a tree that had a perfect little hollow in it for intimate photos.
We left them celebrating in their gorgeous marquee for the evening, such fun!
