Danielle & Steve approached us to document their fifties style wedding, and we were beyond excited! ‘This,’ we thought ‘is going to be AWESOME.’ And it was!
We were blown away by Danielle’s sewing skills, she made her own wedding attire, and it looked stunning on her! Abbie Gardiner did Danielle’s makeup, and did a stunning job!
Fabulous Judith from Judith’s Floral Design crafted their fabulous flowers at reception, as well as the bridal parties bouquets and buttonsholes.
Their wedding bands were exceptionally awesome, crafted by SeventySix Design.
Steve looked dashing in his waistcoat, and stylish quiff.
They got ready at the Vineyard Cottages, which really suited their wedding style.
Danielle arrived in her Plymouth car (how cool to OWN one!) at Kumeu Valley Estate, where they had their gorgeous ceremony indoors, as it was a tad drizzly outside. Surrounded by family and friends they vowed to be each others hairspray to their quiff – so cute!
After hugs and family photos, we headed off to the old house yard in Kumeu, and had a fantastic location shoot with Danielle & Steve. Amber found the most amazing tree to shoot in too – love the colours!
Back at the reception they surprised their guests with an ice cream parlour – it looked so delicious!
