Koreen & Julian are such a cute couple and we had been so excited about their wedding. Koreen is a graphic designer and so we were looking forward to seeing all the cool things she had done to decorate the day! Julian and Koreen chose the colours navy and orange and had tastefully incorporated them throughout the day. Her beautiful gown was from Hera Bridal and she looked stunning. Julian got his suit made in Thailand and looked suave.
Their ceremony was held at the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle and it was so lovely to see so much emotion. They had the amazing Travis from Burlap & Blossom to capture it all on video. After their ceremony they cut their cake and surprised their guests with their first dance before doing a couple of laps of the church aisles! They had an afternoon tea with everyone who came to the ceremony before heading out for photos.
We started at the Art Gallery then headed to Britomart as the weather had turned cold and rainy, and made use of the gorgeous fairy lights. We had a few final shots at the Langham before they made their grand entrance to The Great Room. Julian’s brother created all the origami pieces inside birdcages at the reception. The food at the Langham was incredible, if you are considering it as your reception venue, we highly recommend it!! They had hilarious speeches, the highlight of which was the groom’s brother Bryan giving Julian four words of great wisdom, “Don’t be a dick”, awesome. We left them dancing the night away with their friends and family. Koreen & Julian, thanks so much for having us as your wedding photographers!
