Lai and Matt were married on the most beautifully sunny day in November, (I remember clearly, my feet have sandal tan lines to prove it!) at Bracu. What a stunning venue, to go with an equally stunning Bride and Groom!
We checked in with the boys first at The Lodge at Six Acres, and found an excited bunch of groomsmen, ready to have fun! Next, we visited the ladies, who got ready at Bycroft B&B nearby, and were escorted to the ceremony in style in a ’67 SS Camaro! Nice!
They exchanged vows in front of friends and family, and their doggie Trixie (a staffy cross), who was trying desperately to sit at their feet while they exchanged vows and settled for sprawling on the floor – what a show stealer! 🙂
We stayed on site for photos, as the grounds around Bracu are gorgeous, and we snuck away with the bride and groom down the road to a patch of wild flowers, before heading back to the reception – they didn’t want to be gone for too long and miss all of the fun!
We witnessed their Tea Ceremony, I will never forget Lai’s Dad proudly declaring ‘My son!’ to Matt and the entire room – so very special to see two families unite with such a special tradition.
