We first met Matt & Jess via Skype at their wedding enquiry. What a COOL couple. Meeting them in person was even more exciting, their excitement and sense of fun is infectious, we just knew it was going to be an amazing day.
We were blessed with incredible weather on their day (woohoo!) and headed out to photograph the guys getting ready – what a hilarious bunch! I’m sure you’ll agree they all look very handsome!
Then it was off to the ladies. We arrived at Bracu House just as the final touches of hair and make up were being done – wow. Just wow. What a flawless job by Briar Howard make up artist, and Angela Renee outdid herself on the girls hair! I need to say wow again.
We had fun with portraits in the olive groves, and heartfelt reveals with Jess’ parents, which was really special to witness.
We were super pumped for the ceremony and reception at Bracu, Bracu’s florist had done an amazing job in the reception room, and also created a gorgeous floral branch that Matt and Jess exchanged vows beneath – so pretty! Flynny was their celebrant, which made it extra special, as Matt works in radio and they have become great friends through work. Flynny had just the right amount of sentimental mixed with fun, and the ceremony really reflected Matt & Jess’ personalities, which was neat to witness – you’ll see from the photos! 🙂
After celebrating wth friends and family in the courtyard and a few family photos, we were off to the upper garden for some bubbles, beers and photos in the late afternoon sunshine – so delish!
We then snuck off with Matt & Jess to our favourite nearby field with the perfect giant tree for some quiet photos together. Then…. The Reception.
Wow. Do these guys know how to throw a party.
Flynny. You outdid yourself. My sides hurt from laughing. So many surprises. The undies. The songs. The John Key phonecall (Matts face, lol). Just wow.
May I also add, that I was super star struck to meet my favourite DJ’s Jase & PJ. How exciting. Had to restrain myself from complimenting their show too many times over the evening, ha.
After a fantastic first dance and rocking it out on the dance floor for a few songs, we left everyone to enjoy dancing and partying with no photographic evidence (you’ll have to ask the couple what happened next!)
Thank you Matt & Jess for an absolutely AMAZING day, we had an absolute blast, as i’m sure all of your guests did too!
We wish you all the best for your very bright future together as husband and wife.
