It was such a privilege to photograph Anna + Ben’s wedding a few weeks back. They are a couple so genuinely in love that it made our job so easy! We started out with the Ben, his brother + groomsgirl who were getting ready at Le Cottage at Wild at Heart, meaning we could utilise the stunning tree-lined driveway for some portraits of them all (seriously, we love that driveway!) We left them to head to Anna’s place where she was getting ready along with her family + two very excited bridesmaids. Anna was all about having a day that reflected her personality, so the red details were perfect – she was super bubbly and pumped for the day!
The ceremony was held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Helensville and it was so sweet to see Anna + Ben both so stoked to be marrying each other, both holding back tears as the ceremony began. Hugs from family + a few group photos, and then we were off to do some bridal party portraits in the Woodhill Forest (how amazing does the red look amongst the greenery??) and at Muriwai Beach. We then zoomed back to Soljan’s Estate Winery for the reception where we had just enough time in the golden light of sunset for a few romantic portraits of Mr + Mrs Catt alone. They even gave us a few twirls – a sneak preview of their incredible first dance!
Anna + Ben, we had such an awesome time with you on your wedding day, congratulations again!
