It’s hard to sum up in just a few words the day that was Nikki + Kevin’s wedding… it was so much fun!
We began at Kevin’s parents place where the boys were busy getting ready, putting on their incredibly suave suits. After a few photos outside in the garden we headed straight across to where Nikki + the girls were getting ready. They were so relaxed, but a nervous air of excitement was hovering as they finally got to put their dresses on! We took full advantage of the sunshine with some portraits outdoors then headed out to Kumeu Valley Estate.
When we arrived, guests were gathering, enjoying the sunshine with a drink in hand, chatting excitedly while they waited. Before long, Nikki had arrived, vows and rings were exchanged and Nikki + Kevin were husband and wife! After they were congratulated by their guests, we gave them a chance to mingle and enjoy the atmosphere before heading off to take some photos with the bridal party, the sunshine definitely playing in our favour… We delivered them back to their reception, documenting their guests as well as the celebratory vibe of the room, and left them to enjoy their speeches and cake (which looked AMAZING – made by one of the guests!).
We are still in love with the flowers Jess from Honeysuckle Rose made for the day… and the beautiful ceremony was taken by Celebrant Rose Duncan.
What. A. Day. Nikki + Kevin we’re looking forward to your return to NZ so we can see you and show you these photos printed in person! x
