Saturday the 18th of January dawned warm and sunny, serving as the perfect day for Phil + Shannon to get married! We started off where the girls were getting ready and took some portraits in the conveniently located vineyard next door. There was a real buzz of anticipation (especially from the ring bearer and flower girls, and Phil too no doubt) as everyone awaited the bride’s arrival. Shannon looked stunning as she entered the church at St Patrick’s Cathedral. They were married surrounded by close friends and family, and afterwards we headed to photograph the bridal party in a few central Auckland locations. They were a great bunch and we had fun photographing Phil + Shannon as they revelled in the excitement of finally being married!
The reception was held at The Foodstore on the Viaduct, and in fact it was the first reception to ever be held there. No doubt there will be more to follow, as it was a great location with the afternoon sun streaming in and water front views, with the added perk of being able to watch the chef’s prepare the food!
