Tara + Kane’s wedding day in April was a stunner, and we had so much fun with them and their families. We started the day photographing each of the boys and girls getting ready, before heading out to the Waitakere Ranges. Thankfully, the weather was perfect for their ceremony at Cassels, and they exchanged vows, rings and a kiss to seal the deal. After a few photos around Cassels, we headed to our favourite little forest clearing, a magical spot that we jump at the opportunity to take our couples to. We were lucky with the light, as it streamed through into the clearing exactly as we needed it to. We made it to Bethells Beach just in time for sunset, where the golden light was doing pretty things for us. After this, it was back to Cassels, where we witnessed one of the most amazing first dances we’ve ever, complete with backflip!! Be sure to check out that moment near the end of the post! And keep an eye out for the cute surprise hiding at the back of their wedding cake!
