Vicki + Darren were married at Bracu on the first Sunday of November and we were lucky enough to be there to photograph their special day. Family had flown in from all over, so it was a real celebration for them. We photographed each of them getting ready at the house on the vineyard before Darren headed down to await his bride’s coming at the ceremony.
It was beautiful and sunny at the brand new covered area on the island at Bracu. They had two gorgeous flower girls and a ring bearer too who were dressed adorably and very excited about their special roles. Vicki looked like a princess as she made her way down the footbridge surrounded by olive branches. Such a beautiful day! After the ceremony and congratulations we borrowed Vicki, Darren and their bridal party away from their guests for a few photos amongst the olive groves by the restaurant where the sun was in the perfect spot for nicely lit portraits. We then took Vicki + Darren into the wine cellar where the temperature was lovely and cool and got a few photographs of the newly wed couple!
The speeches were fantastic and there was even a special video made by all of Vicki’s friends who weren’t able to make the wedding, a special gift which brought about a few tears! And how incredible does that food look…? Vicki + Darren, it was fantastic to be your photographers, we wish you a wonderful married life together.
